About me…
I am a mixed media artist, based in rural Worcestershire, creating contemporary artwork inspired by my love of the British countryside. My work takes a gentle and nostalgic look at life, by combining cheerful colours and textures with contemporary collage techniques.
I grew up in Herefordshire and, after studying for my A-Levels at Hereford Sixth Form, I took an Art Foundation course for a year, followed by an HND in Illustration at Hereford College of Art. It was here that I first discovered my love of collage, inspired by artists like Peter Blake and Richard Hamilton.
Although my painting style has evolved over the years, my use of texture, colour and fine detail has remained throughout. As time has passed I have noticed a more gentle, illustrative side to my work and each piece tells a story.
Now you can find my original work in galleries across the country and my fine art prints, greetings cards and even contemporary cross stitch kits, available on-line.
If you would like to view more of my work you can find it here.
